With their first two albums, “Business as Usual” and “Cargo”, Men at Work had taken on the world by storm and had become one of the most popular bands in the early 1980's. The songs on “Two Hearts” are more grown-up and much more serious than on their first two albums. Colin Hay's songs, such as “Man with Two Hearts”, “Everything I Need”, “Maria”, “Children on Parade” and “Hard Luck Story” show a side of Hay that wasn't seen on the first two albums; his seriously sentimental and grown-up side. Greg Ham really comes to the fore as a songwriter this time around with “Giving Up”, “Stay At Home”, “Snakes and Ladders” and “Still Life”. Last but not least, “Sail to You”, which was written by all three of them sensing that there was still creative magic between them despite their differences. Overall, Two Hearts is a good and underrated album by Men at Work. It should also be a part of any fan's and music lover's music library. MEN AT WORK Two Hearts 1. Man With Two Hearts 2. Giving Up 3.
